Alison Kohlenstein was appointed vice president, merchandising—Private Label at Ulta Beauty effective May 2021. In her new role, she oversees the Ulta Beauty Collection brand, Merchandising and Corporate GWP programs, and drives overall Private Label brands. Kohlenstein is a strategic leader with extensive experience building brands based on consumer insights, anticipating trend through product development and driving results creatively. She grew her more than 15-year career in beauty at CDG, starting as brand manager before becoming president, where she oversaw CDG’s acquisition to WWP Beauty. Most recently, she served as executive vice president, WWP Beauty.
